By now youve heard about the Syrian Refugee Crisis as it has been headlining global news reporting, and for the first time is finally being recognized as an urgent issue needing to be dealt with as quickly as possible.

A horrific image surfaced in September of a little 3-year-old Syrian child who was left floating in the sea shore, which spurred on global outcry to the civil war and refugee crisis in Syria.

As with all news events which seem to suddenly explode overnight, you can find yourself overwhelmed and perplexed at how this happened and what were the origins that brought it on.
