Singing Nun Releases Epic Cover Of ‘Like A Virgin’ (Video)

If the name Sister Cristina Scuccia rings a bell, it’s because the Italian nun won Italy’s version of “The Voice” a few months ago.

The 26-year-old sassy sister ventured into foreign territory with her newest single, a dreamy cover of Madonna’s 1984 classic, “Like a Virgin.”

The choice seems bizarre, but Sister Cristina believes the song is really about love and redemption.

Sister Cristina told an Italian newspaper she’d like to see Madonna’s face when they tell her who’s singing the cover.

Here’s hoping for an onstage collaboration between the nun and the woman who once published a coffee table book called “Sex.”
