Romney Addresses “Cheat Sheet” Conspiracy

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney addressed head-on Internet allegations that he used notes at his debate against President Barack Obama.

Outlining his five-point jobs plan before a crowd of thousands, Romney added that he’s quite familiar with them.

“I don’t have to look at notes to know what they are, by the way,” he said, before listing the plan.

Earlier Friday his campaign addressed claims that he pulled out a sheet of notes as he walked onto the debate stage in Denver this week. “It was a handkerchief,” an aide says. Footage later showed Romney wiping his face with the handkerchief.
