Perhaps a train engineer should have kicked this senator in the head
Continuing last week’s theme of standing too close to trains, Senator Richard Blumenthal had a close call on Friday while participating in a presentation at a Milford, Connecticut station…
No engineer kicked him out of the way like what happened to the kid last week, but if he’d been a few inches closer, he might have needed a helpful boot to the face to keep him from a worse fate.
And, of course, the presenter’s line just before the train passes adds all kinds of irony to the situation…
