1. Water in a bowl with some lemon juice works great. We did this when making an fruit tray for Christmas before…works on sliced pineapple and cantaloupe too and you cannot taste the lemon.
2. If you don’t want to use a rubber band, after washing and cutting it, get a bowl of water and put some table salt in the water for a few minutes and they don’t turn brown. Useful for when making an apple salad and it works!
