The premise: The Axe Effect is so strong that women can’t let go of their man the morning after. Enter the Morning After Pillow, a supposedly real product.
Though the latest ad is in keeping with Axe’s long-running, tongue-in-cheek campaign presenting the grooming products as catnip for the ladies, some may view it as a disappointment after a more sentimental, less mook-y ad from the brand in July. That commercial featured Kiefer Sutherland as a man mourning the fact that he had never made a move on his high school crush.
