An iPhone Was Sent To Space And Then Survived A Crash Landing (Video)

Extreme product testing isn’t something we’re unfamiliar with.

Not too long ago, we discovered an action-packed product-testing video that demonstrated exactly what it’s like to be shot at with an AK-47 while riding in a bulletproof Mercedes-Benz.

It’s safe to say companies will do anything to show you that their product works — and they’re not wrong for it.

As a matter of fact, it’s super cool. Who wouldn’t want hard proof that what they’re about to invest in actually works?!

In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by Urban Armor Gear, we’re introduced to a new military-grade iPhone case.

In order to test its product and make sure it actually protects your $600 smartphone, they decided to send it up to space.

According to the Daily Dot, the flight lasted about three hours while the phone and case were put up against -79 degree temperatures and 70 mph winds.

Once the flight up to space was over, the phone returned back to our lovely planet with the help of a parachute.

The results? A scratch-free, unbroken phone. That, to me, sounds like the ultimate victory for a phone case company!
