2 Stars Are Singing “Silent Night”, But Once This Woman Comes On Stage, It Gets Even Better

When you think of Christmas, what song automatically comes to your mind?

There are many great Christmas songs, but Silent Night is definitely one of the most iconic tunes of the season. Its incredible how it has been sung and translated in 140 languages! It all started when Joseph Mohr decided to write the tune in 1816 when assigned to a pilgrim church in Austria. It was performed at Christmas eve mass thanks to the arrangement of Frank Xaver Gruber who composed the melody, and arranged the guitar parts.

A New York priest named John Freeman Young published todays version of the melody back in 1859. Since then millions have performed this song and it has been covered by musicians in all different kinds of musical styles.
