When I Told My Dog It Was Time To Leave The Park, THIS Is How He Responded!
Huskies are a unique breed and, in the wild, howling is their primary form of pack communication. Unlike a lot of other breeds, huskies tend to be more migratory instead of territorial. They roam over a much larger area and need their howl to stay in contact. Huskies also modulate the pitch of their howls to indicate pack status or confuse predators. With domesticated huskies, a howl is usually an indication of a desire to play. They are very athletic animals and require a lot of activity everyday to fend off boredom.
