This Antarctic Explorer Is Insanely Happy to Rediscover Junk Food He Stashed Weeks Ago

Norwegian explorer Aleksander Gamme recently finished a solo expedition from Hercules Inlet in Antarctica to the South Pole and back — over 1400 miles on skis by himself. On the way in, he stashed supplies for his return trip. One way he kept himself motivated was by not keeping track of what he left for himself, so each find was a bit of a surprise.
