Grumpy Cat‘s feature film debut may not officially happen until Christmastime, but we has an early gift for fans: the first photo from Lifetime’s Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever.

In the movie, which does not have an air date yet, Grumpy Cat “plays” a lonely feline who develops a sour outlook on life after living in a mall pet shop. Then, over the holidays, a 12-year-old girl named Chrystal (played by Megan Charpentier) enters the pet store and realizes she is the only one who can hear the cat talk. A friendship ensues.
Through the adventures that follow, which include facing off against evil dognappers and saving her new friend’s life, will Grumpy learn the true meaning of Christmas?
