The passing of star ESPN personality Stuart Scott touched many people, not least among them his current and former colleagues.

NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen is one of the many people who has been outspoken about how much of a pleasure it was to work with Scott.

And for those who didn’t know just how much of a cherished friend the “SportsCenter” anchor was, Eisen made things clear on Sunday morning.

Here is his emotional statement on Scott’s passing during the broadcast of “NFL Gameday Morning:”

Of course, Eisen emphasized how enjoyable and talented of a person Scott was, focusing on the flair he added to his craft on air.

And while Eisen would appear on a special episode of “SportsCenter” later Sunday night to discuss just that, his rendition of a vintage Stuart Scott highlight narration stood out most.
