Rebecca Black Shows Off Hidden Talent in New Music Video
YouTube sensation Rebecca Black is back with a new video for her moody single “In Your Words.”
The 15-year-old’s new song is notably mellower; it omits high-pitched, auto-tuned vocals. Instead of cruising in the backseat of a car with her friends, Black is impressively writing words backwards on glass windows.
The catchy song, set to a more leisurely tempo than her previous releases, may be one for the haters who have criticized her looks, singing and lyrics.
So far, YouTube commenters seem impressed with Black’s new song and mature look. One wrote, “This is good stuff. I’m glad she was strong enough to press through the hate storm.” Released on Black Friday (how fitting!), the video has garnered more than 50,000 views on the video-sharing website.
