Learn The Surprising Truth About Restaurant “Meat Glue”

Do you love going out for a fancy steak dinner? To me, there’s no better way to celebrate a major accomplishment than taking your loved ones out to a nice restaurant and cutting into a juicy tenderloin. Or, even better, you can learn how to make one yourself and invite people over for a delicious dinner party. You can even try to serve this potato volcano as a side dish if you really want to impress your guests.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of problems with the meat industry. You probably are aware of the mistreatment of cattle that occurs on a mass scale. It’s a heartbreaking reality and one that we all have to come to terms with in our own way. But, you may not be aware of another problem explained here by Greg from Ballistic BBQ. He calls it “the meat glue secret,” and once you understand what it is, you’ll never look at steaks from restaurants the same way.

The “meat glue secret” is that cheap and lower quality meats are often pasted together with a powdery substance to pass as high-quality cuts of meat. It happens in restaurants and dining halls all over the country and the vast majority of people aren’t even aware of it.  So, next time you order a steak, you might want to give it a closer inspection.
