Don’t be too concerned today if you find younger members of your household quietly singing, “Leave the coffin open when I go.” Lady Gaga debuted the somber ballad “Princess Die” at a show last night in Melbourne, Australia, telling the audience the song expresses “some of the most deep and personal thoughts I’ve ever had.”

I wonder what Gagas "deep thoughts" were that inspired Princess Die. Such a beautiful song. Perhaps her most meaningful to date.

If your Twitter timeline seems a little more depressing than usual today, keep in mind that half of those death wishes just might be Lady Gaga lyrics posted by “Little Monsters” who have never been happier.

She just wants to sleep. The final act of life will be my own hands to do, I’ll be your Princess Die and die with you.

Oh my god, if “Princess Die” is the duet with Elton I’m going to off myself in a swimming pool so everyone can see

The singer said the song might or might not appear on her next album and is not characteristic of other new material.

She said the next album isn't anything like Princess Die and it's not sad and depressing. It's gonna be great.
