President Donald Trump woke up the morning after his 2005 tax returns were released to the world and unleashed an angry tweet about…Snoop Dogg.
He’s referring to the politically tinged video for “Lavender” in which Snoop rolls out clowns, weed, references to the Philando Castile shooting, and “Ronald Klump,” an orange-faced clown who is president.
The gun emits a “bang” flag instead of a bullet, but the violence was still heavily criticized.
Senator Marco Rubio even weighed in, saying: “Snoop shouldn’t have done that.
Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, told TMZ he was “shocked” by the video and said the rapper “owes the president an apology.”
Theres absolutely nothing funny about an assassination attempt on a president, and Im really shocked at him, because I thought he was better than that,” he said.
Snoop said he wasn’t looking for a reaction.
When I be putting shit out, I dont ever expect or look for a reaction. I just put it out because I feel like its something thats missing,” he said.
The reaction was pretty mixed on Twitter.
Which side of the beef are you on?
