One couple, Marshalland Addie Burnette, recognized the hassle of a traditional wedding and decided it was more their style to elope to Roan Mountain, Tennessee, with only family and their closest friends in attendance.

Addie tells Refinery29,

Everything was last minute, including my wedding dress.

The cool thing about it is that we eloped to the same mountain where we had our first date 10 years before, and it just so happened to snow two feet that day.

In two feet of sparkling, powdery snow, Marshallwrites that “[their] dog, Ryder, insisted on filming the wedding video, so [they] let her do her thing.”

From the morning moments shared with her mama, Addie, to capping offthe wedding nightin a cozy, mountain-top home, Ryder captures the quaintcelebration from a unique point of view.
