Community Post: 7 Reasons Why I Should Be Your Next BuzzFeed Fellow
Backstory: It all started because I shared this video. I thought it was funny, and I realized other people would, too.
This is just one of many examples of how the Internet impacts my life and why I enjoy sharing viral content.
I spend a lot of time reading posts. But, because I’m a huge consumer, I know what works.
In many ways, it makes the whole, big world of the Internet a lot smaller in a really wonderful way.
13. 4. I can write viral posts people want to share.
This is my most popular post. It has 908,066 views.
I’m able to find a hook, apply BuzzFeed’s tone, and make it interactive. Take my puppy post, it has almost 300,000 views.
Or my sushi cat post that the Community editors loved. It has over 200,000 views.
16. Lili Salzberg loved it so much she made it her Facebook cover photo.
We’re Internet pals.
17. 5. I love writing viral posts people want to share.
I recently graduated with a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida, which is ranked as one of the top 10 J-Schools in the country.
He’s probably not the best example of what UF offers.
